Hitachi demostrates innovations to deliver the future of projection at ISE

Hitachi Digital Media Group will be demonstrating the latest innovative LCD projection solutions at ISE 3rd – 5th February 2009 including the second generation of the ground breaking ultra short throw projectors and the brand new high end, professional installation models. Many of the projectors on display feature the latest versions of Hitachi’s advanced, virtually maintenance free, hybrid air filter and long life inorganic LCD panels, which deliver significant reductions in both total cost of ownership as well as electronic waste.

“Our presence at ISE is a demonstration of how Hitachi continues to innovate to provide customers with sustainable projection solutions that offer outstanding lifetime value and have the ability to transform the way people use projectors. New application areas, improved performance and an ongoing focus on reducing total cost of ownership mean that customers can visit the stand today and see the future of projection,” said Axel Kutschke, Senior Manager, Presentation Products for Hitachi Digital Media Group. “Whatever the environment Hitachi offers customers a solution with the reliability, flexibility, value and quality to meet their needs.”

The imposing Hitachi stand will feature four A1 ultra short throw projectors, including the new ED-A101 model, used in a variety of applications such as interactive whiteboards, a Wii gaming console, an interactive table and a downward projecting table top demonstration. These demonstrations show some of the wide range of applications that are only possible as a result of the incredibly short throw performance of these models that produce a 60” (152.4cm) projection screen at only 42 cm from the centre of the mirror.

The new high end professional installation models also feature prominently with one of each projector in the range being used to create a huge 11m landscape image at the front of the stand that will be visible across the hall. At ground level, the impressive 7000 lumen, SXGA+ resolution CP-SX12000 with a 10,000 hour air filter will be used to demonstrate the flexibility of this family with its wide range of optional lenses.

In addition the stand will also feature the ED-X40, the brand new flagship of the education market range with exceptionally long maintenance intervals and the SXGA+ resolution CP-SX635 that incorporates an inorganic LCD panel and vivid 10 bit colour processing. The mobile CPX4 with quick and easy wireless connectivity will also be on show together with a CP-X809 that features a long life hybrid filter offering low total cost of ownership.
